We provide step-by-step guidance on preparing your badge artwork — feel free to message us any time.
When making badges, the most common style is the "raised-and-recessed enamel badge", just like the photo below.

These badges feature raised lines and recessed areas:
Other details: for example, if you want a gradient effect, you can add UV colour printing on top.
The correspondence between the design file and the finished badge is very clear. Before production we confirm the artwork proof with you — size, Pantone colour codes, metal lines and fill colours — making sure every detail matches your expectations before manufacturing begins.

If all you have is a line drawing and you need our help completing the design, we offer that service too — feel free to contact us directly. Below: a hand-drawn sketch becomes a finished badge, with every colour area mapped out first.
From sketch to finished badge — each colour area is mapped, then filled in production
Each craft has its own character. The animation on the left shows how it is made; the photos on the right show real badges we produce.
Raised metal lines · recessed colour you can feel
Metal lines are struck raised, enamel colour is filled into the recessed areas and baked. You can feel the texture under your finger — bold colours at the friendliest price. The most popular choice for event badges, club pins and anime merchandise.
Colour polished flush · smooth, jewellery-like surface
Enamel is fired into the recesses and then polished flat until it sits level with the metal lines, giving a smooth, gem-like surface that resists scratches. The premium option — ideal for corporate awards, anniversary coins and retail collections.
Pure metal relief · no colour, timeless
Your design is struck directly into the metal — relief only, no colour fill — then finished with a single plating such as antique gold, antique silver or antique bronze. A classic look for coins, medals and understated logo pins.
True 3D depth that stamping can't reach
Molten zinc alloy is cast into a mould, reproducing sculpted, three-dimensional detail — deep relief, openwork cut-outs and thick 3D shapes. Perfect for military stars, medals, crests and badges with real depth.
Photo-accurate colour under a clear glass-like coat
Full-colour printing is sealed under a clear epoxy dome — glossy, waterproof and scratch-resistant. Gradients, photos and fine text reproduce exactly as designed, at the lowest cost. Great for name badges and corporate giveaway pins.
The plating sets the tone of the whole badge. Choose from 16 finishes — or combine two on one badge for a dual-plating effect.
16 plating finishes — antique, polished and matte series in silver, nickel, copper and gold tones
Butterfly clutch: the most common style — squeeze both sides to remove.
Rubber pin (Pin): soft PVC post, safe and easy to handle.
Screw nut: screws on firmly — stays put through wear and washing.
Plastic cap: soft and scratch-free, the simplest to use.
Magnet: holds invisibly with zero damage to the fabric.
Flat clutch: low-profile metal cap with a cleaner look.

Soft enamel has a concave surface you can feel — bolder colours, lower cost. Hard enamel is polished flush, smoother and more scratch-resistant. Send us your design and we will show both options in the artwork proof.
AI, PSD, JPG and PNG all work. If you only have a line drawing, our designers can complete the artwork for you — including mapping every colour area, as shown in the sketch-to-badge example above.
